A Green Lakes State Park Winter Engagement Session – CNY
When setting up Kelly and Ryan’s engagement session, they mentioned snowshoeing. I thought–YES, a winter engagement session! Yay! So many people wait until Spring or Summer or Fall for their engagement session, and that is understandable. BUT–there’s something about the beauty of winter that is often forgotten or overlooked. The crisp white snow against the deep green pine trees is just beautiful.
We lucked out and had a “heatwave” of 40 degree weather for their engagement shoot at Green Lakes State Park. Kelly and Ryan were so fun, and didn’t bat an eye with any of my suggestions. I love how my IMcouples trust me! From climbing a tree to having a winter picnic beside the frozen lake (complete with wine, of course)–doesn’t everybody have a frozen picnic? No? Well, they should try it sometime. Even when it started sleeting out, Kelly and Ryan were pros!
I loved capturing Kelly’s laugh when Ryan tried to go in for another kiss, and another “nuzzle!” You can tell these two have been together for over 5 years. The gentle way he brushed the hair back from her face, to the loving gaze he gave her when walking alone. It’s official–these two are in love.
It was such a pleasure capturing Kelly and Ryan’s CNY engagement photos. I love spending time with my IMcouples, and really getting to know them individually and how they click together as a couple. Dave and I are so excited for your August 2016 wedding at Buttonwood Grove Winery in the Fingerlakes!
